Certain Clubs/ Players/Positions
Watching yesterday's game occured to me what is it about for example Stoke City and Goalkeepers. Banks,Shilton now Butland have they got some conveyor belt there ??

For us it seems we havebeen blessed with outstanding individual's Brooking Di Canio,Devonshire on a conveyor belt any others you can think of ??

Most teams have between 1/3 outstanding players, the rest just make up the numbers.

Think all our goalkeepers have been international players ( if you include Andalusia)

Strikers also .

West Ham have had a fine conveyor belt of old past it players looking for a final payday.

And it looks like continuing, with our fans seemingly very keen for us to sign Zabaleta & Defoe to go alongside Fonte.

Banks started at Chesterfield, not Leicester.

You may as well argue WHU have THE outstanding record of players called Trevor. Over a 40 year period. It's TREVolatory.

I don't know if I'd call three goalkeepers in 50 years a conveyer belt.

I cannot believe no-one better bid for Butland to be honest.

Stoke obviously have a tradition of emphasising the position, putting resource into bringing in good keepers if they can't grow their own
